2009到最新或2022（历届）年共八年的中考卷的首字母填空，其中形容词出现了16题，平均每年两个，是所有词性中最多的。（其他的为：动词13题；名词13题；副词11题；代词2题；介词1题——最新或2022（历届）年首次出现。）
形容词的句中的出现，大体上分三种可能：
A. （限定词a/an/the/this/these/my等）+ 形容词定语+ 名词

最新或2022（历届）年首次出现后置形容词定语。这类形容词又叫做表语形容词，意思是一般只能在系动词后做表语，做定语修饰名词则必须后置。如：
abroad，available，alive，alone，afraid，absent，asleep，alike，awake；
（注意到了吗：很多是带有前缀a-的形容词）
还有另外九个：
present，ill，fine，well，fond，ready，sure，sorry，unable

表语形容词，用来表达某人或某事某物“（是）什么样的”。系动词除了be的变体（am/is/are/was/were/been）之外，还有：
1、感觉类：feel, look, sound, seem, appear等

3、保持类：keep, stay, remain, 等
